Terms & Service

The following rules will be relevant starting October 16, 2024 (EST), for any new commissions initiated on that date. Commissions established prior to this date will continue to apply to the existing rules outlined here.

These terms only apply to the commission service. If you, as a client, do not agree to the terms and service stated on this page, then please do not use my service. Any questions about my service are welcome for clarification.

Payment Conditions

Clients have to pay in full upon project completion, before receiving the finalized work files. Usually a 30%-50% upfront payment may be necessary, with details agreed upon beforehand. For projects involving direct collaboration, 100% upfront payment is required.

I accept payments in cash with stripe only. Taxes apply for each transaction and late payments may incur additional fees. Additionally, changes requests or additions to the commission after work has begun may result in additional charges.

Upon complete payment, all assets provided by me can be used in your game with no restriction. However, if you choose to distribute or sell my creations, you must ask me for permission and credit me visibly. Not following the rules stated on this page may lead to conflicts, and I will have the right to take back asset ownership permanently, meaning you will no longer be able to use it in any of your games, neither distribute or sell it.

You must be at least 13 years old to use my service. If you are under 18 and plan to pay in cash, you must obtain permission from your parents or guardians.

If you need minor changes or bug fixing within 7 days after the full payment is processed, I will provide it free of charge only if the initial task was initially included in my payment estimate review before any payment was made and has since been paid for. The bug fixing period extends to 1 month with support.

Service Cancelation

You have right to cancel my service anytime by providing written notice via my email or any form of communication.

Please note that canceled services are non-refundable until the full payment for the completed work has been received. I will only issue a refund if the final work provided does not meet your intended expectations in terms of proper functionality, quality or the general requirements.

Once the service is canceled, if you made your payment in cash (through stripe service), the refund will be processed immediately. Please note that it may take 5-7 business days for the bank to transfer the funds back to your account. However, if the payment was made in robux, you will need to join this group and wait for a period of 2 weeks. After this waiting period, you will receive your robux on the requested account immediately. This waiting time is required for you to become eligible for receiving funds. You can always join this group before even commissioning me to skip some of the wait time.

Upon cancelation, you will receive full refund. However all ownership rights of the work provided will no longer granted to you. Instead, I retain them, allowing me to use the work for my business purposes.

IMPORTANT: You have 1 week to retract your cancellation after the full payment transaction!

Robux Payment

Payments made using robux currency are subject to the cash USD value determined by the Roblox Developer Exchange (DevEx) program and include default tax and fees.

All transactions are made through roblox website. You can pay using custom t-shirts, game passes, or group funds. Payments can also be made in my payment processor game, after which you will automatically receive a download link to access the content sent via Google Drive.

Communication Guidelines

You can contact me via discord (redwasp.dev) by sending me a message request or by sending me an email (contact@redwasp.dev). I will respond within 24 hours on business days.

When sending messages, please ensure to include all relevant details in a professional and detailed manner, such as the specific service you are requesting, the issue you are experiencing with, or the task you need completed. It is also advisable to include your budget and deadline.

You must provide all necessary materials promptly. Delays in providing these materials may result in project delays without penalty to me.

Delivery

You can select your preferred delivery method. Each option has a different delivery time based on its associated price. The more expensive it is, the higher priority it will receive.

Here are the available options:

  • Standard ($0): Free delivery with a delivery time ranging from 1 to 2 weeks.

  • Prioritized ($21+): Fast delivery in 1 to 4 days.

I have the right to change the price of each delivery based on the complexity of the project and the time required for its completion. If I am unable to deliver any project on time, you will receive a 5% discount for each day of delay, unless otherwise agreed upon. 

I consider the delivery complete once I have finished the project. The final state of the delivery will be confirmed only if the client finds no issues and all agreed-upon tasks have been satisfactorily completed. If anything is missing, the commission will revert to an 'in progress' status until resolved.

You will receive regular updates at key milestones throughout the project to ensure transparency and allow for adjustments based on your feedback. You will also be able to see all my real time changes via this experience: Commission-Test-Place (except for direct collaboration). This means everyone will be able to join and view the progress. I can also make the experience private upon request.

Once the full payment is completed, you can choose to receive the project file in Roblox format (RBXM) or as a ZIP file. You can also request me to insert it directly into your game or in a new Roblox Studio place using Team Create. If the payment was made in cash, you will also receive an email with a link to google drive containing the asset.

I retain the right to showcase completed projects in my portfolio and on my socials. Each file is stored on my local machine. However I do not redistribute or sell any assets. If you prefer that I do not post your project in my portfolio, please contact me directly.

For each transaction made, whether upfront or full payment, you will receive a detailed summary of the payment. This summary will include information such as per-task estimated time and the total transaction amount, chosen payment method and service, as well as the preferred communication form and any identifier that associates you with the transaction. This document is provided as a confirmation of payment for your records. You can request it to be sent before payment, but it will only be relevant after the transaction is completed.
