An alternative way of using UIs all over the screen is to make a phone GUI that players can use. The phone can be beneficial for a minimalist look since all applications are displayed on a single screen, and there is also an option to hide the phone when not in use. Additionally, players can customize their wallpaper theme and color, or just simply check the in game time!
Applications
The phone offers a variety of useful applications, each representing a different function. Unfortunately, this version of the phone does not have built-in messaging capabilities, but it offers diverse apps such as a map, job levels, stats, notes, car spawner and settings. And who knows there might be always a software update for the software that will add more functionality...
Car Spawner
The primary functionality offered by the phone is a car spawner app. As the name suggests, it is used to spawn player's cars that he purchased. To limit spawn usage, there is a cooldown for each car spawn.
Interactive functions
The phone interacts with other game functions and systems. For instance, when visiting the store and selecting items, a note app automatically opens with a list of your current goods.
